1.0 out of 5 stars Looks nice, but crystal is cracked, February 8, 2010
This review is from: Skagen Men's 331XLSLB Steel Black Leather Multi-Function Watch (Watch)
This is my second Skagen watch and it shows the same defect my other had. Styling is great and the movement is accurate. However, the slim design makes for a weak crystal. The crystal is now cracked in a semi circular crack arcing between the 2:30 and 6:30 positions after wearing it for less than 2 months. The crystal is not covered under warranty (of course) but seems to be a common problem on Skagen watches according to reports I've read on line. Both my Skagen watches did this after less than a few months of use. I am not hard on watches and take card to not let them get struck by anything. It is such a disappointment as I really like the way the watch looks. I will never buy a Skagen again.

Same thing happened to me. The crystal cracked and the band loop broke off.

My crystal cracked on its own internally, not from dropping.

I had the crystal crack after exactly one year... seems to be pretty prevalent.
