4.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Amazingly powerful, April 18, 2010

This review is from: Aimkon iTP A3 EOS Max 130 Lumen LED Flashlight Cool White (Tools & Home Improvement)
One AAA battery and this (version 3) light produces more than enough light for most tasks. The low beam allows you to get around at night without disturbing others and extend battery life for hours. You would pay $10 for a light 1/4th as bright and not nearly as compact or well made. This one fits in my jeans watch pocket which makes it easy to have a flashlight with you all the time for emergencies or just convenience. I put one in my home emergency kit because it doesn't take much room and requires only one little AAA battery

My only complaints are that it is a two handed operation to turn if on or off. A small end cap button would make it much more convenient. Also, the inclusion of the lanyard ring post on the tail end makes it impossible to set the light on its end and illuminate a room. A major mistake of many flashlight manufactures. Wait until you get caught in a power failure and you will see how amazing it is to be able to illuminate an entire room by standing this light on-end and setting on a table. I know this is a keychain light so maybe a new model with the above changes would make a killer product.
A great light! Get one... or two.

It is fairly trivial to grind off the keychain nub so it tailstands if you don't like it. That won't leave a hole in the bottom or anything.

This is definitely a one handed operation light. Hold the base with the second, third and fourth finger against your palm and twist the head with your thumb and first (index) finger.

If you want a tail standing version of this light get the Maratac AAA from countycomm.com
