Assassin's Creed: Awesomeness,
This review is from: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Video Game)
Another winning Assassin's Creed game. I love this series and am so happy that Brotherhood is more of the same. There is so much to do in the game and the length of time to play through everything is staggering. For instance, I just completed the main story and it took 18 hours to do that without spending too much time on the side missions. I've easily put another 5 hours in just going back and completing the Leonardo missions and doing things like looking for treasure, feathers and flags. That's why I love this series. I have not played one second of online multiplayer and have well over 20 hours of playing time with this game. I hate spending money on a game that I can beat in a weekend and the only way I get more playing time is to play online or play the game again. I can see AC3 easily hitting 30+ hours to complete everything. A great value for the money.
Most of the changes to the game work really well too. I didn't know how I would like the whole "training assassins" part of the game, but I enjoy having them do my dirty work for me almost as much as I like doing it myself. It's so easy to be running around the rooftops and then just call an Assassin to take out the guard on the building across the way instead of having to find a way over there to do it yourself. You don't even have to stop running. Using an arrow storm to take out a group of guards is pretty awesome and if you find yourself really in a fight, you can call them in to help you.
Overall, if you like the last game then you will like this one. The changes are minor and it feels and plays a whole lot like the last one, which is a good thing. Highly recommended.
