This isn't your typical Don Miller book.
To be honest, after the first couple chapters (which took about 10 minutes to read), I was ready to give this book a 1 star review. Many of the words and phrases Don uses makes it seem like Jesus is "the round peg to fill the round hole in your life" mantra that he has been against all these years. I felt like Don had bought into something and had become a different person.
Well, in many respects, he has. If you've read all of Don's books, it's like we've seen him grow up (especially in A Million Miles in a Thousand Years). He's a changed man. His passion for The Mentoring Project is evident. He actively wants to help change people's lives for the better, instead of just the sharing the (wonderful) thoughts in his head.
So this book should be different, because it has a different purpose.
The price is a little high (part of the reason I gave it 4 stars), but the issue at hand is quality over quantity. There are a handful of new ideas that I've had to work through that is well worth the price.

You might want to check out Dan Allender's book, "To Be Told: God Invites You to Coauthor Your Future " - it is very thoughtfully written - very good.
