Time to end the series,
This review is from: Smokin' Seventeen (Stephanie Plum) (Hardcover)
I used to laugh out loud whenever I read the Plum books. Those days are long gone. The series is extremely stale and stagnant...same jokes, same ineptitude, and same love triangle except Steph is now sleeping with both Morelli and Ranger. Hmmm, what happened to the Catholic guilt and the no sharing? This is fiction, but, when had alpha males ever share their "woman"? JE says she does not want to make Steph seem trashy. Sorry, sleeping with both men at the same time is trashy. This series should have ended a long time ago...how about with both men dumping the two-timer?

I totally agree with your assessment; in the story and in the plot lines. Two alpha males sharing...The author/publisher should give great thought to ending this series. It is too late to end it on a high note...so many of the previous books were boring and repetitive.

My opinion says:
I'm so glad I am not alone in thinking this. Stephanie sleeping with them both at the same time is just trashy.

Thank goodness someone else thought this! I thought...maybe I'm getting old and starting to get uptight about these things, but I just felt really disappointed in the bed-hopping. It just made me see those characters in an entirely different light.

JE started to make Steph sound slutty back in book... 13, I think, when Steph was trying to give up sweets. It was the same time Joe got his leg broken. He was in a cast, she was in sugar withdrawls, and she used constant sex with injured Joe to replace sugar. She didn't care if he was hurt.
