Poor Customer Service,

I was debating between the Fitbit and the Slimcoach. I found a great deal online for 69.99 plus 10 dollars for shipping. When I tried to pay for it, I had some trouble using my Visa Gift Card. So I called Slimcoach (Mytrak) to see if I could order it over the phone. After playing phone tag and punching in numbers, I finally got to a live person a few days later. Only to be asked if I could provide my PHONE records so that they could honor the price, because that deal was no longer valid. When I explained the issue, I was told they couldn't honor that price but gave me another code for 20.00 higher.
My thoughts, if its that hard to purchase a product from a company and they won't honor the price even though I had called multiple times, do I really want to buy a product that if I need technical support is most likely going to be twice as hard to speak with someone? So in the end I'm buying the FitBit.

So you didn't actually review the product? You are reviewing the customer service of the product. Its very frustrating when you are looking to buy something and there are 1 star reviews that have nothing to do with the quality of the product you want to purchase. Seems like all of the 1 star reviews have to do with service/website flaws and not the actual product itself.

Hello teegirl, sad to hear we may have lost you to a competitor. As much as the Fitbit is a good entry product, you will certainly find SLIMCOACH far superior. We did however honor all online promotions for the SlimCoach while that sale was on, unfortunately it appears there was some miscommunication that occurred here.

Part of buying a product is knowing how that company supports its product and customers. This great information and I'm for one very glad they shared this information with us! Keep it coming
