Awe in Seacrest County,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - PC (DVD-ROM)NFS Hot Pursuit is Jawdroping. When I installed the game the first thing I did was I went to freedrive mode. When everything loaded and I accelerated the car for the first time I was stunned. Not only stunned by the cars realism, but at Seacrest County (The location the game takes place).
Everywhere you turn there is a new place to explore. The developers must have spent endless days placing every little detail in this scenery. I mean, you might be driving by a airport and you deside to go inside. Your on the runway and a plane swoops over-head. You keep driving and 30 seconds later your at the pinnacle of the county. You are driving up EaglePeak Road and now the stunning night cycle has set in. It is 1:20am when you emerge over top of the mountains and see all of Seacrest below you. Words cannot describe the feeling of awe you get driving a 1.6m dollar exotic car in this virtual playground.
This game was not meant for keyboard. If you are buying this game you NEED a gamepad. You can use the keyboard but it is highly impractical. I would strongely reccomend the Logitech F310, F510 (My favorite), or the F710. The Logitech F510 is currently on sale with all the features of the F310 and rumble compatibileties. The F710 has everything already said, and wireless compatabilites.
If you are not into the scenery (which I would find hard to believe), there is an amazing storyline with the option to be a cop or racer as you battle it out in seacrest county.
Lastly the greatest part of the game;ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. "You Havent Crashed Until You Crash In Seacrest County" Battle your friends or rivals from across the world in online multi thanks to Autolog. NFS Hot Pursuit is built around autolog, keeping you and your friends together and beating eachothers times.
There are probably about 70 cars to unlock in this game and 5 tiers respectivly. This game is golden, and for the price of 39.99 it is a steal. There is nothing else like it.

A storyline? It's not anything particularly engaging if you can even call it a storyline...

This review sounds more like a sales pitch than a genuine customer review....
