5.0 out of 5 stars The same Halo we all know and love, November 6, 2012

This review is from: Halo 4 Limited Edition -Xbox 360 (Video Game)
*completed campaign game several weeks prior to launch*

343 Industries did a great job creating Halo 4. In all honesty, it felt like I was playing a Halo game created by Bungie. Fans of this series will love this game because the formula hasn't changed. New, smarter enemies are a welcome edition to this series.

Pros
-same traditional Halo feel
-better graphics
-smarter enemies
-new enemies
-new weapons
-solid multiplayer

Cons
-graphical jump isn't so dramatic
-lengthy load times
-short campaign

Overall I would rate it a 9/10 (the graphical jump isn't as impressive as it was in previous installments)

In all fairness to the graphical jump point you make, I am pretty sure Halo 4 is pushing the Xbox to about as far as it can go. The xbox only has so much processing power and whatnot. My point is it is amazing that they were even able to improve on Reach's visuals at all. I think criticizing the game for not having as large a graphical leap as you yourself expected is unfair.

I agree with David. Halo 4 has the best graphics that I have ever seen on the XBOX 360, plus the framerate is a big step up from Reach.

It ranks up there for sure. I think the only two games that I think could be on par or better would be RAGE or The Witcher 2.
