This review is from: TotalMount Roku Mounting Kit (Compatible with Roku XD and Roku XS) (Electronics)
When I first saw the TotalMount I had doubts, but for the low price I decided to give it a chance anyway. When I unboxed it, I was impressed that it included a total of nine clips, two and a spare for each vent type (vertical, horizontal, and circular), and how perfectly it fit between my TV and wall mount in just a few seconds.

Wont 3M velcro work also?

I've never tried it, but that would probably work. You'd have to check the description of that product. My only concern would be the glue on the reverse of each strip of velcro leaving residue on my TV and my Roku, which isn't a risk with this product, since everything physically clips into place.

For any residue left by the glue, you could just use GooGone.

Using glue strip, Velcro and similar item might work, but it just ugly and not reliable. I don't trust the glue that is holding the ROKU box in place. And even if there are many ways to remove the residue glue, it is a big hassle.
Amazon has it for $14.95 with free 2 days prime shipping, so for that price I rather just buy this ROKU mounting kit. If it was more expensive, then I would go the Velcro route.
For the price, this item is worth it and it makes thing simple and neat.
