Digital Panorama Nightmare,
This review is from: Ricoh WG-4 GPS black 16Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 3-Inch LCD (Black) (Electronics)
The new WG4 - with and without GPS - was just released and despite all the press, and specifications on line, on camera store websites, and in general, Ricoh did not include the standard digital panoramic mode that allows stiching together three photos.
No one at any store knew this nor did Ricoh Customer Svc in North Carolina until today until I told them on 5/15/14 after I exhausted all options for finding this mode on line, on the camera itself or in the manual.
Ricoh should immediately identify how it will fix this problem and maintain interest in the first Pentax W to be released under the Ricoh name. For many, this is a loss of arguably one of the most valuable features.
For me, a total waste of time to have figured it out for them.

How did all the other features work? And why would you expect an underwater camera to take panorama shots? Underwater is not usually conducive to underwater shooting unless you are in a sterile environment like a pool, and I don't think too many people would want a panorama of that.

One missing feature is enough to give this thing one star? Was it even an advertised feature?

This guy posted this same review in every version of this camera's listing. So far, his (inane) review seems like the only negative one so I think I'm going to pick one up and then write a (real) review.
