5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME FLICK FROM A HORROR FAN!!!, September 27, 2012

This review is from: House at the End of the Street (DVD)
I don't know what some of these people are talking about. There was nothing predictable about this movie. I am a huge thriller/horror fan. I've seen everything and lately there hasn't been anything good coming into the theater's. Typically you watch five minutes of a movie and you know how it will end. I thought it would be the same with this movie. IT ISN'T! It's awesome! Jennifer Lawrence does a GREAT job!!! Loved this movie...in the theater....and can't wait to go and see it again. It is a definite "must see" if you are a horror movie fan!!!

You know now that you mention it, I see people trying to be critics calling EVERY movie "predictable". The movie Sinister for example- and there's nothing predictable about that movie either! Good review- I'm really looking forward to this one now.

I could not agree with you more. There was nothing predictable about this movie at all. There also weren't any cheap thrills to speak of or plot twists just for the sake of shock value or to help prop the story up in some way. From the very start to the flashback shown during the final moments of the movie, all I can say is "brilliant". Great performances all around as well. Highly recommended.
