Exactly what it says it is,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Star Wars: The Old Republic 60-Day Pre-paid Time Card [Online Game Code] (Software Download)
I gave this 5 stars because it's exactly as advertised, the code was quickly delivered, and they even sent me a file explaining how to use the code. Once I got it, I used it, and I was accepted as a subscriber nearly instantly.
If you are looking for a way to subscribe with giving them your credit card number then this way saves that, your gas to the store of your choice, and time.
Not only the things above, but subscribing once or even just getting Cartel Coins makes you a preferred member even when the subscription or coins run out. You are allowed more as a preferred customer than a free to play one.

One more thing is with these time cards you get 525 cartel coins per month instead of the base 500 that come with a monthly recurring sub. So effectively same price as a sub yet you get more cartel coins.

You mean even when the time card runs out you are still a subscribed member? That's awesome if so.

You're not a subscribed member, but a preferred member once the time or coins run out. There are 3 levels ~ "Free to play," "Preferred," and "Subscribed." You get more as a subscribed player, but you still get more as a preferred player than you would as a free player afterwards.
Once playing on the subscribed level, I missed it, though, but I had enough coins to buy some of the things that I missed, so only the level in the gain of experience is what causes me to want to subscribe over playing free or preferred.
