Turning the tragedy of my brother's death into a positive for my life,
This review is from: Thriving Loss: Move Beyond Grief to a Place of Peace, Passion and Purpose (Paperback)
My life has changed since I started reading Thriving Loss and practicing the process Tabitha takes me through in her book. My brother died in a car crash over a year ago, and I had stuffed everything down to get through my final year of school. I had searched my local area for grief support that would help me and it just wasn't there. I am grateful for Tabitha sharing her experience and guidance so that I too can have a new found relationship with my brother. This weekend I went to a pottery place with some friends and we painted the pottery of choice. I chose a locomotive, because I like trains, and on the back I put "B Express", as a tribute to my brother Brian. Doing that made me feel so good, because I felt like I still had some sort of connection with him still. I did this tribute to Brian because I read in Tabitha's book about creating a new relationship and that we can still love and thrive from our love of those who have passed. Thank you Tabitha!

Stephanie, I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, but I am sorry for your loss. Life can be very cruel. When you feel able, please allow the Holy Spirit to comfort you. I recommend Streams in the Desert as a devotional for those whose hearts are broken.
