5.0 out of 5 stars Don't miss this bundle at this price., May 28, 2014
This review is from: Amazon Fire TV & Kindle Fire HDX 7" Wi-Fi 16GB with Special Offers (Product Bundle)
My 10 year old son just saved up his money to buy a Kindle Fire (after "borrowing" mine constantly for the last month or two). We were debating between the regular HD and HDX and ultimately went with the HDX for improved performance and graphics and battery. Had I seen this deal, we would have snapped it up in a minute! If you are trying to decide between the HD and the HDX, go for this and get an extra bonus. I have enjoyed my Fire TV as a way to watch Netflix and my Amazon Prime streaming content, in addition to reading books. He likes using it for games, but I'm also looking forward to using the downloadable Prime content for this summer's travels. I'm just glad he has one now, and I can read my books now.

This is a GREAT deal. You are basically getting the Fire TV for only $20.

I think you can still get this deal if you purchased it within the last 30 days. Contact Amazon customer service.

Thanks Grazk! I literally just purchased it a day or two before I saw the deal. I'll do that!

They've offered that Kindle for $139 before (I'm sure they will again). So if you buy that one plus the $99 full value of the Amazon TV it would be $238. There really isn't a saving with this offered compared to the other one. I'd suggest wait for the $139 offer. Still, def. interested in the TV product.

Pretty sure the $139 price was for the Kindle HD and not the Kindle HDX offered in this deal.

Yes, this is the HDX which does cost $40 more I think. I do have one Fire TV and was considering one for a second TV. I love having it, or something similar (like Roku).

I did contact customer service. I could have sent my HDX back when it arrives especially today, and then reordered to get the deal. But my son is ready to have his Fire, so I'm not going to make him wait until next week. I already have a Fire TV, and I would have liked another for a secondary TV, but it wasn't worth it for the extra. Thanks for suggesting it though
