Alpha Slim Fit Khaki.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dockers Men's Alpha Khaki Pant (Apparel)
First of all, I love these pants. I have always loved the clean look of Dockers, but have not found a fit that fitted me as I am tall (6'4") and slender (190lbs).
These pants start off slim in the thighs and taper down at the shoes. If you are familier with Levis sizing, I am the same size Levi 511 as I am for these Alpha Slim Fits (36x34).
The material is just perfect, not too thick or too thin, and seems to be very well constructed.
I have been wearing these to work, in a business casual setting, and out to the bar with friends.
I purchased the gray color this time, and will be purchasing the other colors very soon. This is a great buy! If anyone has any questions let me know.

Do you find that they stretched? I ordered my standard 34x32 but they are a little tight.

To be honest, I've had mine for quite some time and they never fit perfect on the waist. The legs fit great, but the waist requires a belt as I could probably fit both arms down my pants if I wanted. I think I'm going to take them to a tailor to have them taken in slightly. I'm 34 normally and I bought these in a 36 because they were so tight, but maybe I just should have stayed with the 34s and cold washed them. Hope that helps :/
Edit: I should mention that at first they didn't fit horribly but I lost a couple lbs and I think they did end up stretching out.

How would you describe the weight of the fabric? I live in a very warm summer climate and anything too thick is hot. Also, is the fabric soft and pliable, or more on the stiff side? Looking for comfort, but in a modern slim fit. I also own the Levi 511s, find the 34x32 fits good, but I usually have my tailor take them in just a little in the thighs to make them slimmer, without going to the super skinny 510. Thanks.

They are on the thicker side, I would say. The fabric is nice though, and decent quality. I would try getting the same size and see how you like them. Sounds like you might need to get them tapered like your jeans though.

Sounds like this won't work for our hot summer months here, but it could work for spring and fall. Glad to hear the fabric quality is good. Thanks -- appreciate it!

Hello. When I place my favourite jeans flat and alligned the waist measures 42cm wide. So it would be a circumference of 84cm or 33 inches. They are old and already stretched. Normally my size is 30 or 32 (sometimes 34) depending on the brand. What should be my size on this pants? (I can't return them as I live outside the US). Do they strech a lot? Thank you for your help!

Based on your description, I would get the 32 inch waist. And I would say they do NOT stretch much.
