This review is from: Jellyflop! (App)Game Play:
There are five main chapters to the game and the first one is called Sea Skippin and it is unlocked for the first level. The other four chapters are locked. Sea Skippin has 20 levels in it. The game is a physics based game where jelly wants to collect feathers to learn how to fly. Jelly falls and you draw rubber lines that bounce him properly to collect drops of water and ultimately the feather. The shorter and fewer the lines you draw the more points you get. You only get a limited supply of jelly to make the rubber bands so don't use too much or draw extra lines or make them too long.
Jelly can slowly move on the solid objects like he is sliding. He also moves like he knows how to use a trampoline. The game is cute and the graphics are well done in a cartoon style. The game physics are applied well to the game playing actions. Just don't land in the ocean or on the land without beating the game as everything seems to want to eat poor jelly.

What I like:
The game action is fun and it plays well on the Kindle Fire. It is challenging and takes strategy to beat each level and it makes you think. I found it to be entertaining to play and it is a good time waster. The game draws lines of the trajectory that you followed and it helps you to properly position your jelly bands and set them to the proper angles to beat the level.
The graphics are nicely done and I like the little transition story between the levels.
What I don't like:
I don't care for the links to Facebook, Twitter and Concrete Software with pop up messages that you have been to their site. This game does not need network access to operate and it only uses it to link you to social networks and to their website. I also do not like anything that self-loads on boot. That means that this game is running in the background all the time and using valuable resources on your phone or tablet and can slow down the device's startup and operation. Why does the app have to start at boot up if you are not playing it?
This is a fun game but the two permissions I listed above are unnecessary to play the game. Get rid of the permissions and you have a 5 star game. As it is it is a three star game.
Size: The game is 33.9 MB compressed and 37.75 MB uncompressed.
