Innovative, but not a keeper,
This review is from: Tom Clancy End War - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
I was totally excited when the previews came out for this game. When the demo hit XBL, I downloaded it and played it immediately. I was a bit worried from the demo as it seemed it was a rock-paper-scissors game (i.e. tank beats helicoptor which beats transport which beats blah blah blah). I went ahead and bought it on sale for $40 and began the campaign. The graphics are great, especially the WMD's, but the camera is limited as far as how you can view the battle...I would have liked the option of moving whereever I wanted to view a specific battle. The gameplay is fun at times, boring at other times as you wait for your guys to reach a destination. Also, enemy vehicles appear out of nowhere (reinforcements) which can leave your men without support as you've moved on to the next checkpoint to clear a path. Overall, a fun game but i won't be playing it beyond one time through. BTW, I haven't tried the online modes yet.
