Do not purchase,
This review is from: Amazon.com Gift Cards (Paper Gift Certificate)
The cards are worthless. The activation codes don't work, then "customer service" intentionally gives you the runaround. It's a total scam and Amazon should be embarrassed. I previously posted a 1 Star review about the gift cards and Amazon didn't post it. The positive reviews are posted by their own employees - don't believe them.

The string of positive reviews below does sound suspiciously odd. I'm confused though, because shouldn't Amazon employees be able to write reviews that didn't sound suspiciously odd? But then, why are there so many 5-star reviews that sound like they were written by automotonic aliens?

The vast majority of 5 star reviews sound processed and automated because the same intern in their PR department wrote 50 of them, and distributed them to employees to post. It's your typical, run-of-the-mill corporate communications damage control.
