This review is from: Jane Eyre: A BabyLit® Counting Primer (Board book)
This is awful. I have read Jane Eyre at least a dozen times over my thirty-three years, and half of the illustrations in this "book" didn't even make sense to me. I couldn't figure out why this book bothered me so much. I think it was because it is such an obvious and poorly done marketing ploy. Yes. It caught my attention on the shelf, good job. But if you're going to market to literary types, you need to have substance. That's kind of our thing. Even for our kids.

Thanks for your review! I was going to buy this book for my daughter, but after your review I think I'll pass. I highly value the opinion of "literary types" and will therefore purchase "The Other Face of Murder" instead (based on your other review). Thanks again.

I agree! I was disappointed with this book- the babyLit Pride and Prejudice was much better.

To the reviewer who states: "I have read Jane Eyre at least a dozen times over my thirty-three years, and half of the illustrations in this "book" didn't even make sense to me." Better read Jane Eyre again. You missed some stuff.

Thanks, Cactrot, maybe I'll check out the Austen book next time! "A Reader" -- I'm not sure what you think I missed. But you're sweet to comment.
