I can not say enough good things about Celtic Thunder...I love, love, love them!!! I like their voices singularly, I think they are amazing as a group. I have been to numerous concerts, have every CD and DVD they have produced and listen to them all the time. I was very excited to order this CD and DVD as well. However, this whole "It's Entertainment" thing is one great big letdown! Based on song choices for this CD it almost makes one question their talent - only because these are the WRONG SONGS for them to be singing!!! It sounds like bad knock offs of the original songs which happen to be old pop songs from America. The selling point of this group is that they are Irish and their American fans love them for that and that is what we embrace about them. The Irish ballads are what we love. We can watch American Idol to see lame renditions off the pop charts. It's songs like "Ireland", "Take Me Home", "A Bird Without Wings", etc. that we love so much. Please leave the Beach Boys, Neil Diamond and Bryan Adams out of it, they are a bad fit! Even as a huge fan I would not recommend spending your money on this whole production - I have noooooo idea what Sharon Browne was thinking on this whole thing. It's terrible in my opinion.

I felt this review to be helpful in many ways. It is helpful to remember that this review is just an opinion and everyone has one, it is fantastic that we can share them. Obviously enough, Celtic Thunder is an Irish Heritage Band and that is what we love about them.
However, I think that the "It's Entertainment" CD was showing a talent that not everyone is capable of: reaching out of your comfort zone.
It was nice to hear all of their voices, singing some American pop. I prefer the Irish Ballads, however, this CD was an enjoyable change.
This CD gave the younger generation a chance to embrace the group and enjoy all of the guys talented voices.
