This review is from: LEGO City Fire Station (7208) (Toy)
Bought this for my 6 yearold. We had great fun putting it together and the modular aspect was nice as we put each building and car together at a different time. However, this is when the trouble started. When it was time to put the modules together everything broke apart. Since then I have become an expert at putting this together. About once every week the toy falls apart and its to hard for my 6 yearold to put it back together without starting from scratch. If you are going to build this once and put it on the shelf its 5 stars. If you want to play with it when you are done building it I can only give it 2 stars. When I has a kid the Legos did not fall apart when you touched them. For the cost of this its could stick together a much better so the kids could play with them when they are done building what is a very cool set.

This review is 100% correct! The issues comes from the fact that the set is build on 3 different base plates rather then one (so it does not have a solid base at all). Add to this that the walls are three 2-stud pillers and this set is AMAZINGLY FRAGILE! What you really need to do is put it on a large single base and shore up the walls with A LOT more pieces.
I LOVE Lego, and this set has 2 roller doors (which is nice), but the execution is POOR!
Bad form Lego, bad form...

Same thing with us! This was for a 6 Year Old, and it was built several times, but it fell apart if the garage was lifted up or the minifigs were placed in the building. 6 Year Old's older brother got the older fire station when he was about 6, and it never fell apart.LEGO® City Fire Station
