5.0 out of 5 stars Best sandbox, possibly ever!, March 24, 2010

This review is from: Just Cause 2 - Playstation 3 (Video Game)
This game is a split between GTA4, Saints Row, and something all its own. It has the graphics only better'd by GTA4(but not much), the tons of weapons and fast paced action of SR with none of the bad. The only thing I can say is GTA4 has better gun and driving contols and physics; but this game trades that off with better flying and much more fun! The vast area is really impressive. I mean it make Oblivion look like tiny, GTA 4 look small, and I mean I've played for 4 hours now and seen maybe half of the island... By a jet. I feel like I can't even properly review it. 400 square miles of great graphics, changing weather and millions of opions. I highly recomend this game. Over anything else out right now. Its so much FUN!!!

I don't think GTA4 was a bore, or Two Worlds. I put many hours into both, but this game takes it to the next level. I was using them as a comparsion.

I agree that San Andreas, and is accually what I think is the closest to Just Cause 2. And Oblivion is by far a better game then GTA4, but I was only using them to compare. To show the scope of this game. Right I think JC2 is the pinnacle sand box, but I really want to think Mafia 2 will be even better.

This game feels like a breathe of fresh air with the unique gameplay mechanics. No other game has such unlimited use of a grappling hook & parachute combination.

I'm 30+ hours in this game and its so addicting and fun to play. I always try to 100% every area I go to and that really takes up time. After spending 25 hours in the sectionthe game starts you off in, ive finally started to travel to new locations. I have only been to 150 of the 360+ spots. This is a must own for anybody who likes open world games, blowing stuff up, or driving cars boats or planes.
