This review is from: Adele Live At The Royal Albert Hall (Blu-ray/CD) (Blu-ray)
There's an incredible moment near the end of the concert, where Adele, overwhelmed with emotion and the support of the crowd, starts crying after singing "Someone Like You." The entire Royal Albert Hall immediately givers her a thunderous standing ovation that lasts for quite a while, clearly showing their overflowing love and appreciation for this amazing artist. The look on her face is one of pure heartfelt appreciation. And the crowd can't get enough. None of us can.

It's flabbergasting how talented this young woman is. If you've never seen her live, this is the closest you'll get and you won't be disappointed. I've seen her more times than I can count now, still bought this DVD, and still was blown away. Magnificent.

Yeah, I agree, but another element about Adele which I find as revealing as her stage presence and voice and writing, which I found in large supply in this gig was both her realness (complete with honest cussing language which was refreshingly NOT edited out, and heavy British accent you may have to watch a few times to get every word)...it felt like she had some mates over to her place for a cuppa tea and an impromptu show...but also her HILARIOUS sense of humour (and that cackle)...I was not only uplifted and even shedding a few tears despite myself on "Someone Like You", but I was also on the floor laughing my butt off, LOL...Adele is really funny!!! I liked her a LOT before watching the DVD..."19" is very good, "21" is excellent (even a tad flawed which spoke of it's realness), but now I love this woman...she is the type of woman I would date...fun, funny & attractive, but also honest (she would tell you the ugly truth if it was required), would be a great friend and won't take crap from anyone, and would display unconditional love...that's what she would give you...her moments with her dog Louie were nice too.
