This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 4.0 4 GB 16:9 Resistive Touchscreen Internet Tablet, Black MID7033-4 (Personal Computers)
This is a very simple android tablet. I bought it in hopes of outfitting it with apps to benefit those with autism for my brother. Through backing up my apps from my phone i was able to install them after transferring the .apk's to the tablet. They all worked superbly. This included apps like task killer and netflix. The resistive screen is something that takes some getting used to, but after that and calibrating the screen to the users touch, it became easier to select icons. It gets the job done if you're willing to spend the time backdooring apps that you enjoy from google play and installing them on here. The given appstore isn't as comprehensive or safe in terms of spam from free apps. For $90 it's damn worth it considering i bought an older coby kyros 2 christmas ago for almost $200.

Can you please tell me how can one transfer the APK / apps from the phone to a (Koby) Tablet ? I was able to find an APK on a site on the Internet. But most of the apps are only available on Google Play site and that does not allow download on the tablet. But I also have two android phones and was thinking to do what you suggested, but could not figure it out how to do that yet, or did not try+think hard enough... If you reply to this and describe the method, I will be notified by email. Thank you in advance.

download the app demo for monsterapps. this will back up the apk's that are deleted when the app is installed. From there just connect your phone to a computer, pull the apk's from the default directory monster apps puts them in and then transfer them to the kyros. There is a default file explorer on the kyros, use it to navigate to the directory you copied the apk's into and just tap the ones you want to install.
