I don't want to seem standoffish, but - really? By your logic, any toy with a case would be good for travel. There's no way the kid could play with them in a car, train, or airplane because you'd end up with the 12 (or 13 if you count the carton) pieces scattered and thrown all over the place. The same issue applies to a hotel room, condo, or relative's house. Unless you really enjoy hunting egg parts or have a child who sits in one place all the time while playing, this product simply isn't good for travel.
Again, sorry if I seem standoffish; I just don't necessarily understand what (aside from the carton) makes this "good for travel."
