Not quite what I expected,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 2-Year Protection Plan plus Accident Coverage for Kindle Fire (Previous Generation) (Accessory)
In purchasing a 2 year protection plan, I thought the two years would start after the initial first year was done. But the year associated with the Kindle and the first year of the plan overlap, thus I have paid for 2 years but have actually only extened the warranty for one year. Very disappointing!

Sorry but the terms were very clearly laid out on the product page. I also purchased this warrenty but I actually took the time to read the details. I find it sad that a low rating is posted due to the buyer's inability to read (ironic that she purchased a reader.)

Thanks for pointing that out!! Guess I'll wait until the year is almost up before buying the warranty.

Sorry, but I talked to a representative who stated it would start after the first year warrenty ended.

Come on, have you ever bought an electronic product before and had an extended warranty? It spells it out very clear for you. The coverage starts day one once you get the product and lasts for two years. If you did not buy the protection plan and on the first day you had the product it fell and broke, you would be sol. The only thing covered the first year is electrical and regular defects not accidents such as fall and spills. So when you say that you only have the plan for one year, that is incorrect. The other thing is that you only have a very limited time to purchase the protection plan after you purchase the tablet. You can not purchase it a year after buying the tablet.
