Amazing: light years ahead of his time,
This review is from: Volume V - Holographic Transits (Astrology: A Language of Life) (Paperback)I am a professional astrologer and I participated in the research for this book. Every date Robert asked me to look at had one very common theme. Beyond the accuracy of this new technique, the theory behind it is sheer brilliance.
When you are born, a certain set of celestial events is already in motion and will complete themselves in their own time regardless of anything you do or don't do. This is fate. This is regular transits and progressions. However, by tracking the spatial relationship of the Sun and another planet as a pair, another dimension is revealed. This spatial dimension is crucial to the activation of free will within a pre-determined set of events.
The recurrence of a planet's phase angle with the Sun from your birth chart represents a window of opportunity to exercise free will within the relatively fated experience of any particular transit from that planet. What's more is that a chart for the exact moment of this return can be calculated and used like a solar return chart to forecast your experience of this planet's energy over the next year.
A nice bonus is that Robert uses this new technique to reference back to Volume 2 -Sabian Aspects. If you are familiar with the Sabian degree symbols you know they can be a powerful tool and this technique takes that experience to a whole new level.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to take their astrology experience to the next level. You will not be disappointed.
Here is a summary from the author of the valuable info you will find in this volume.
There are three fundamental techniques outlined in the book:
1. The pre-natal synodic cycle conjunctions of the Sun and the Moon, and the Sun and the eight solar system planets. These illustrate the "soul groups" into which one is born; and the La Volasfera symbol from Sepharial for the pre-natal conjunction degree defines the collective karma of that soul group. One is thus part of nine different soul groups during each incarnation.
2. The natal phase angle of the Sun and the Moon, and the Sun and the eight solar system planets (Mercury through Pluto). These define the consciousness of the individual; i.e., a planet rising ahead of the Sun as the Morning Star; or a planet setting after the Sun as an Evening Star. The ten phase points within each planet's synodic cycle with the Sun are delineated: maximum elongation east or west, heliacal rising and setting, direct or retrograde stations, inferior or superior conjunctions for Mercury and Venus; conjunctions or retrograde oppositions with the Sun for the superior planets.
2A. The progressed horoscope shows at what age an individual experiences a phase change within the overall synodic cycle into which he was born. This involves the use of progressed-to-progressed aspects, rather than progressed-to-natal aspects.
3. Holographic transits (also called 'phase angle returns' or 'recurrence transits'). The exact distance arcs in the nativity between the Sun and the Moon, and between the Sun and the eight solar system planets, recur in the Heavens throughout life on a regular basis. These days can be used to restore the soul to wholeness - as the holographic pattern at birth is being replicated in the Heavens - and represent when free will can align with Higher Self and make conscious choices.
The theoretical underpinning for this entire method is as follows:
A. Birth can be defined as the soul entering into the Space-Time Continuum.
B. Free Will and Fate can be understood as being synonymous with Space and Time, respectively.
C. Standard transits are time cycles and illustrate how fate is administered after birth.
D. Holographic transits are spatial cycles and illustrate how free will functions within the fated circumstances of life.
