Quality Watch at a great price!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Citizen Men's CA0295-58E Eco-Drive Nighthawk Watch (Watch)
Love this watch! All black-plated stainless steal with charcoal gray numbers and dials that glow in the dark, however remain discrete in daylight. As are all Citizen's watches, this has Eco-Drive functionality and does NOT require a battery. I wear this watch to work with a button down long sleeve shirt and tie and have received many compliments! No complaints.

The watch looks fairly large on your wrist in the picture you posted. Can you tell me what your height/weight are so I can guesstimate about how it would look on my wrist? I've tried going by the case diameter, but without being able to try it on, it's a little difficult to get a good feel for the size. Thanks.

Hi, can you comment on the lume for this watch? How good is it? And if possible could you try and get a picture of it?

Tried to get a picture of the illumination for you, but it is really hard get a quality photo in the dark without using a flash! I will say that while the numbers and dials are glow in the dark, they do NOT stay lit up very long at all, even if you have had the watch out in the light prior. If being able to read the watch consistently in the complete dark is a concern for you, then this may not be the right fit. However, almost a year after I purchased this watch, I still love it and wear it frequently with no problems or scratches. Still recommend this watch!

I currently own a titanium cased eco drive that I bought in 2000. It still works and still looks beautiful. The eco drive has not failed me once, even when I thought I had lost my watch a couple of years ago. It fell behind my night stand for about 4 months. The watch was close to, if not already, 10 years old at that time.
Perhaps the next generation of eco drives will have a capacitor that holds the charge similar to come high end flash lights do. (Google "5.11 light for life".) Until then don't have any hesitation about eco drive. The technology is solid.
