1.0 out of 5 stars Come on now, October 26, 2011
This review is from: Show Dad How (Parenting Magazine): The Brand-New Dad's Guide to Baby's First Year (Paperback)
Unless you are married to a 4-year old, or believe in the created societal mandate that men lack the basic understanding that women are apparently born with, don't waste your money. If it were a pop-up book, then it might not be such a condescending shot at fathers. It would treat them as the real imbeciles they are. Buy one for your hubby now and show him how much you think of him.

My husband loved this book and thought it was hilarious. He loves that he can just quick look up information without worrying about having to read a whole page to find what he needs when the baby is having a "meltdown." He has "regular" parenting books too, but still prefers this one.

It has nothing to do with being an imbecile. Some people just don't enjoy reading and pouring over pages.

TruthInFact says:
I would fully expect if you buy it for your husband, you will be laughing pretty hard watching him read it, just as I would laugh at my wife if I gave her the mother version. However, I would never buy the mother version of the picture book for my wife... I respect her. But obviously, there are some that are probably the right market for both.
