I bought this cd a few days ago and love it.
Still: You love the fact that Emmylou is not afraid to age gracefully? Jeremy, have you not noticed the work she's had done on her? If you don't see it, you can just ask any woman Emmylou's age. I'll continue to buy her cds and dvds in a heartbeat. She was beautiful earlier and she remains so now, but mainly she's a talented musician. Let's just focus on that.

Perhaps you should re-watch my review Jimbo. I was talking about how in her lyrics Emmylou fearlessly confronted death and lot of other topics people grapple with in the later stages of their life. Instead of writing and singing insipid pop lyrics...Emmylou's lyrics pointedly map out the journey of her life...right through to now.

Yes pretty good reveiw Jeremy. But i do have to agree with Jimbo .. that when i saw Emmylou on the cover of this album i thought wow .. she is looking good for a woman who clearly must be in her 60's by now. And as for her white hair .. i am of the view that there is a possibility she may have dyed her hair even whiter for effect on the cover of her CD. Sure lets not focus on her age but rather the talent she is .. but you did make a point that she is ageing gracefully and not attempting to look younger than she actually is. Isn't there a possibility she could do both?
