Too much a voyeur,

This review is from: Living the Moment (Kindle Edition)
I dislike giving this story such a low review, because it is beautifully written and is exquisite in its portrayal of the change the narrator experiences.
The narrator is a photographer of "The Moment" between people; that Moment of intimacy and pleasure and connection that people experience during intimate acts. He grows bored of finding that moment among humans, and goes to find it among aliens. The interactions between him and his alien guide are witty and well written.
While the story is NOT pornographic, it is extremely graphic in describing the sex scene. The narrator is a voyeur, and takes the reader on a voyeuristic journey of his experiences. If being a voyeur (especially of intimate moments) is not off-putting for you, then this is well worth the read. For me, it was too much, and I was squicked.
As others have mentioned, this story is unlike the author's other works, and is entirely unlike the other story about the Tsipia-aliens. This story should not discourage a reader who is squicked by it from reading her other works.
