Ultimate Kitchen Companion by Bay Books,
This review is from: Ultimate Kitchen Companion (Hardcover)
This book weighs as much as 3 cast iron skillets and is a bomb.
There is no organization to the recipes; there'll be an Italian recipe next to a Mexican recipe, no known catagorization, whatsoever.
All the recipes flip back and forth from metric to English measurements.
There isn't one recipe that has "normal" ingredients, even their version of basic lasagna calls for chicken livers in it!!
There is no step by step explanations and the recipes are in quite small print all crammed together.
This is the most exotic ingredient cookbook I've ever previewed. I am a collector of cookbooks and love cooking, but this cookbook is poorly organized, has very unusual recipes for basic things with almost impossible to find ingredients. I find it hard to even lift, much less find a recipe that I want to try. This gets a minus 10 in my cookbook library.
