5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly, huge speed bump, October 4, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3/DDR3L-1600 MHz (PC3-12800) CL11 204-Pin SODIMM Memory for Mac CT2K8G3S160BM / CT2C8G3S160BM (Personal Computers)
Worked perfectly right after installation on my baseline mid 2012 MBP 13". Great performance boost. Runs win 7 on parallels seamlessly, just as if was just another light app. Completely worth it.

Is your MBP the Retina MBP or the non Retina MBP? Thanks

Just so you know you cannot replace either the 13 or 15' Macbook pro Retina Ram. Its attached.

ok. thanks...I had thought the mid 2012 MBP was the Retina one. I also see the 21.5" iMac memory can be changed but you basically have to rip apart the whole iMac to get it. I ordered a new 27" one so at least has the panel at the back to swap out memory easy.

Nice man, That 27" iMac looks like a monster. And I know what you mean, I opted for the 15" regular mac so I could do some upgrades plus have a video card that can play something other then solitaire. Best of luck, n Happy Holidays.
