If you love music these are a must have -,
This review is from: Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Electronics)
I travel for business and so size was an issue, the thought of a Bose headset with a charger ..etc was just one more thing to carry around. I own a Zune (Their sound is a bit better then the iPod) and so wanted the best in ear pieces that was available. These are light - reduce the noise and produce the best sound.
I was at a Stan Getz concert in the mid 80's. I can listen to the recorded music from that Club done the same week, and if I close my eyes with the album playing on the Shure's I can still smell and feel that Club - The quality is that good - .
If you are going to spend $220 for a Zune or $400 for an iPOD touch - either way should you not also invest in the best ear pieces available? In my opinion if you don't you have wasted your $.
There are things you can do to get the best our of your ear buds - record your music in the highest quality. Keep the buds clean.. etc.
If you want the best with our needing a pre-amp this is it.
