Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Motorola Micro-USB Home and Travel Charger (Wireless Phone Accessory)
The price is right but the quality of the manufacturing is wrong. I purchased two of these chargers. The internal wiring in the USB cable for both was so loose, you could not get a steady charge. The slightest movement of the cable stopped the charging. Even leaving the cable alone would not allow a steady charge. I substituted each cable with a previously purchased Droid X USB cable and I had no trouble charging the phone. The AC unit that the USB cable plugged into in this product worked fine.

Did you buy this from Amazon or from a reseller? Was it the actual Motorola charger pictured or a cheap knock-off?

I have the same issue. I got two from ProLine Distributing, and both USB cables are flaky. I have to get them at just the right angle or they won't charge.
It's completely useless for what I had intended them for, which was to keep my phone charging next to me while I sleep, with the phone's accelerometer measuring my movements to evaluate my sleep and wake me during a convenient part of my sleep cycle. The minor movements it gets while laying on the bed are enough to make it stop charging.

I hope that you rated them (the seller, not the item) negatively and returned the items. Do not let them get away with selling shoddy merchandise under the same listing as the OEM item. And thank you for actually posting who you purchased from. Do they even look like the product pictured here?
