Love it, so far...,

I was trying to find a gate to corral 2 3-lb chihuahuas; the Regalo has too big a gap. This gate looks WAY better, has smaller gaps, and the tall, arch design discourages our black lab from clambering over it (which she did with the wooden/mesh/arm kind of gate. This is tall enough to actually contain her too.
It was easy enough to put up; follow the instructions. It comes with 3 extensions to fit lots of spaces. I took the part off that stops it swinging either way; mine opens both ways. The pin *is* a little chintzy; I hope it doesn't fail. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
The opening is narrow, but I'm no Olive Oyl and I move through it just fine. Although a basket of laundry in the hands might be more of a challenge (drop it over--solved). There is a bar to step over of course but if you're already used to a gate, it's no big deal. A small inconvenience to have the walk-through.
If people find it hard to open, they've installed it wrong. It's like buttah. Love this gate, so far.

Update: We've had this gate for a month now. It's still the best gate I've used since my 1st child was born 18 years ago. (Now it's Chihuahuas). The one thing I'd say is that it may need tightening say...every 10 days. Depending on your traffic, the repeated handling can wiggle the screw-down thingys loose. You may want to check that they're all 4 cranked tight every week or so.

Hey there! I just replied to your May comment on my review of this gate!
I'm SO glad you decided to buy it......AND that it's working with the chihuahuas!
We also tighten ours now and then, but it doesn't have a lot of traffic.
