Does everything I need it to do,

This review is from: WD TV Live Plus 1080p HD Media Player (Electronics)
I was looking for a media server for a TV in my bedroom, there was a few things I needed, one was the ability to play Netflix movies since I have an account with them already. Also, I wanted something that would be able to stream video directly from my PC which is in a different room. This device does it all, but you need to know a few things. The WD Live Plus does not have a WiFi built in, but it does support it, there is a list on their website for all the compatible USB WiFi adapters.
First I bought a basic Airlink 150 $15 adapter, which worked and was supposed to be an N adapter, but it never saw my N network, weather it was on a 2.4GHz of 5Ghz, I know the Airlink 150 doesn't support 5Ghz band, but it didn't work on the 2.4 either. It would only work as a G device, probably because N is still a draft, and the router I am using is a Linksys WRT400N dual band radio router. I recommend to use a 5Ghz radio for the N network, with a dual band adapter, I purchased the Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N which is great. I am able to connect to my network and stream 1080p content (MKV files) without any problems, there are times where the video needs to be buffered, but after that it is usually smooth sailing. Overall I am satisfied for $100 media server which does everything I need it to.
