This review is from: Dell Inspiron i15RN-3647BK 15-Inch Laptop (2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-2450M Processor, 6GB DIMM, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) Diamond Black (Personal Computers)
I purchesed two of these machines to replace two HP laptops that where stolen from my girlfriends house when it was broken into a few weeks ago. I have to say the I expected our new Dell's to be faster because the HP's had the i3 prosser and these have the i5. Also, I think the HP's where 2.1 GHz, and the Dell's are 2.5 GHz. I'm no computer expert but I'm guessing the Dell's are just running a lot of extra crap that was loaded at the factory and just needs to be deleted. In my opinion the Dell should run much faster for the money.
