Ink bleeds after multiple washes,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Paisley Bandanas By The Dozen 100% Cotton 12-Pack 22" x 22" (Apparel)
I ordered blue color. Nice Bandanas, but after washing them 3 separate times the dye still bleeds out of them. Have had them on my head and taken them off to blue ink on my forehead.

Tip to prevent color bleeds in any cotton item:
Retayne -it 'Fixes' or sets dyes on cotton to prevent color bleeding during washing. Cheap and easy to use, a 4 oz bottle is under $2 bucks.
Better than the old salt water bath (which bleeds out colors). I use it on any brightly colored new cotton clothing, works like a charm.

Rinse in ice cold salt water. Then wash/rinse in cold.
Table salt is cheaper than $2 per 4 oz.
and it DOESN'T bleed out the color (not sure where that nonsense came from). The dye will be set by the salt and the color will not fade. Just be sure to use cold water (that's what prevents the dye from rinsing out). I've used this method myself and it works just fine.
