This is an incredible book! From the very first page you are invited to share the warmth that is Southern hospitality with native southerner, food writer, and cooking instructor Rebecca Lang. I can honestly say I could sit down and read this cookbook cover to cover and be in absolute bliss. Rebecca's recipes are absolutely mouthwatering...I can't wait to try the over-the-top egg sandwiches, Georgia shrimp bisque, and sweet potato chips with gorgonzola sauce...yum! A novice at Southern cooking,I was thrilled to see that the book includes recipes for classics like herbed buttermilk biscuits and homemade grits. In addition to all the delicious recipes, Lang offers up memories of her childhood and additional snippets about life in the Southern kitchen. I would highly recommend this book for food lovers of any kind!
