1.0 out of 5 stars Not A New Book!!!, October 10, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Day by Day Armageddon: Origin to Exile [Books 1 & 2] (Paperback)
I was also disappointed when I started to read this book and realized that I was sold a book that was suggested that is was the next installment. It is just the first two books wrapped into one. Very misleading on Amazon's part.

As far as zombie books go, I will rate both books at 5 stars, but this book packaged as a new installment, for what reason, I will give it one star. Now I have multiple copies.

When you started to read the book? So, neither the cover art, nor the title, nor the little message on the front told you that this was the first two books plus a short story?

Oh, yeah, Amazon never claimed it was a new novel. In fact, the little blurbs that they had across the page were simple re-hashes of what it says on the back of the second book. nowhere was this suggested to be a new book. Never.

I understand everyone's frustration in this, but...

Regardless of the content of your review, you've given this book (and by implication, all works collected within it) an aggregate score of 1 star out of 5. That score is added to the book's overall averaged score.

At this time, there are 14 1-star reviews on this book, and one 2-star. Only 1 of these 15 reviews (a 1-star) actually disliked the content of the book (and even then was sorely lacking in explanation). The rest were upset that it wasn't a new book in the series.

These reviews are meant to reflect the product being sold, not the service, not the experience, not the seller. That means that 14 people rated this book series as not worthy of anybody's time because of an error they made in purchasing it, as that's what a 1-star represents.

Imagine walking into a shop and seeing a boxed set of the entire The Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones), or harry potter, or anything that you enjoy, and finding a lot of reviews giving the set 1-star because reviewers thought "Song of Ice and Fire" was the name of the newest book, not the series box set.

You may have felt you were mislead, but your subsequent actions are in turn misleading potential buyers who might not read the content of your review.
