an eye-opening book,
This review is from: Energetic Boundaries: How to Stay Protected and Connected in Work, Love, and Life (Paperback)
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I have worked in the spa industry for over eleven years. I have definitely noticed different clients "energy" over the years. Some drain you. Others feed you.
I never knew much about "energy", tho.
Once I began reading, I could not set this book down.
The pages are dog-eared, my highlighter has left many a mark, and my pencil has devoured much of the margins.
Easy to read. Easy to understand. There are even exercises to help you heal your energy field.
Cyndi Dale has really produced an excellent book - this is an excellent companion to her book "The Subtle Body: An Encyclopedia of Your Energetic Anatomy". I actually keep both nearby so I can reference one while reading the other.
I'm very glad I read this, and I am most definitely feeling much better from having done so.

I am SO looking forward to reading this book. I was a hairdresser, but had to quit because I found having that much contact with people wiped me out, mostly. That was over 30 years ago, before energy work was widely known. I need this book! Wish it was available back then!

Oh wow! Yes, I agree, Susan - I started working in the spa industry back in 2000, but went to massage school from 2003-2004 and was totally unprepared for the energy suck!
I just recently was let go from my spa job, and am struggling to decide if i want to stay in the industry or do something else. I've been using these 2 books to heal myself from the horrible environment of that place. I worked there for one year and one week, but I feel like I was in prison for a decade. *yuck*
I hope the book helps you as much as it is helping me - feel free to post another comment here. I look forward to hearing from you. =)
