5.0 out of 5 stars Well thought out design, but nothing special., May 3, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: First Alert CO615 Dual Power Carbon Monoxide Plug-In Alarm with Battery Backup and Digital Display (Tools & Home Improvement)
Length:: 2:44 Mins

A short video to show the detector in use. I don't subject it to any test fumes in this video.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. Video reviews always are useful and I can see that the readout is visible which others have questioned.

Thank you. I am a visual person and this helped me visualized how this item will function. There are so many detectors out there, and your video made it easier for me to compare the maintenance of each... thx again.

wat carbon monoxide detector would you recommend

Yet, alas, it does NOT display the CO level the way the Kiddes do! That's one of the two things that I wish they would change about this unit--the other is to give it a flat base so that when one puts it on a dresser top, it doesn't wobble!!

Thanks for showing the rear of the unit. It looks like the plug can be rotated 90 degrees which in my house the outlets are sideways. I could not tell from the documentation that the plug was rotatable.
