Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Berman Center Juno Weighted Pelvic Exercisor (Health and Beauty)
***** This is a video review of the Juno Pelvic Exerciser. In my video I try to be as specific as possible without being explicit; I wanted this video to be helpful. I want to emphasize (although I mention it in the video) that if you are deciding which Berman pelvic exerciser to purchase, the Isis is a beginning exerciser; an advantage I saw in getting the Juno instead is that it is graduated so that it can be used as your muscles strengthen---as both a beginning and an advanced exerciser, which appealed to me. Thank you for watching. UPDATE: Please see comments for probable correction (according to Dr. Berman) as to the BEST way of using this exerciser, even better than the video! ***** Comments

From what I read, the progression of use is the opposite of what you explained in the video. You start off inserting the bigger end first. The stronger your pelvic floor muscles are the more weight it can hold when you are standing up, so the goal is to work your way up to holding the weight of the bigger end with the smaller end inserted.

I had to check this out, Red. Thank you so much for your comment.
You are partially accurate in that they can be used the way you describe. However, the video is accurate too, because there are many ways to use the exercisor. The best description is here from the manufacturer: "Manufacturer's Instructions: Use internally. Insert gradually over time and use according to your comfort level. For beginners, use the lighter weight (smallest ball) while standing by inserting the smaller end and supporting the other end gently with the palm of your hand. You can work your way to a heavier weight, first by inserting up to the second ball and then by turning Juno around and inserting the largest end first while squeezing the vaginal muscles around it. You should support the weight by holding non-inserted end until you eventually work up to holding the heaviest weight in without support. Use with a water, oil or silicone-based lubricant. Clean after each use: Immerse in soapy water." and this: "The Juno weight remains the same, regardless of which ball is inserted. Therefore, the greatest challenge to the pelvic floor muscles is to hold the Juno with your vaginal muscles only (ie no hand support), with only its smallest end inserted. At this point your muscles are holding and lifting the full weight of the Juno, but are required to clench very tightly to keep the 1.25cm small ball in place." It's a bit confusing, so hope this helps to clear it up. Again, thank you Red! O.

I wonder if you can put the whole juno inside and squeeze, because the entire length of the vagina is a muscle. When I get mine, I'm going to try it many ways and I'll follow the instructions.Benwa balls are made so the balls go up and down the entire vagina. This seems to be the same, but easier to get out of the vagina when done.I'm going to use it while standing and lying down while watching tv....

Exactly! I heard that explained that way by Dr. Berman herself. You work up to holding "in" the small end. The larger end is actually easier to hold inside, because it is bigger.
