The Best of All Time,

This review is from: The Beatles: 1967-1970 (Audio CD)
If you are one of those people who have been keeping up with all the Apple releases of the past 15 months, you may not need the infamous red and blue albums. If you are a completist, or on the opposite ends, someone who just wants an overview, you just might want to grab these. All the singles are here, and the pacing of hits and album tracks flow neatly between the red and the blue, so that when you're done, you FEEL like you've heard it all, and will probably be standing in the middle of the room, mouth open, wondering how so much greatness can be contained in just 4 Cds. It will be only after a few listenings, that you will start to realize that there's a song here, and a song there that you're missing, and that's when you will become one of us, those who have to have all the albums, in stereo, in mono, et al. Until then, enjoy, what is probably, the tightest, most comprehensive collection of the best music of the last century. Period.
