5.0 out of 5 stars Worlds Greatest Tenor with great singing partner, October 16, 2012
This review is from: Together (Audio CD)
If you have never heard Jonathan and Charlotte sing you are in for the treat of a lifetime when you do. First of all Jonathan has to be the greatest tenor of all time, and I say that with my fulllest convition, but paired together with his friend Charlotte, a singing sensation in her own right, the pair will literally blow your socks off. Add to that the fact that ages of this pair is only 17 and you have a treat that will thrill you for ages. Their combination of pop and opera may seem odd, but once you hear it you will be hooked just a millions of fans all over the world have become. I cannot praise this pair highly enough. If you only buy one CD this year, this should be the one.

Wow!! Simply amazing. To listen Jonathan and Charlotte you truly would think you are listen to two people who have spent countless years pefrecting their voices only to find out that they are Teenages. I was blown away from the beginning. Being a musician myself when I hear a voice that strikes a nerve, my hair on my air stands up. Beleive me when I say this, My hair was standing up from the beginning to the last note.
If you ove music, give this a try. Light a candle, prop your feet up and enjoy!

They are pleasant, but to call this guy the greatest tenor of all time is ignorant. Even a cursory glance of tenors throughout the past 60 years will yield dozens of tenors Jonathon cannot hold a candle to. Bjorling, Pavarotti, Domingo, Florez, Kaufmann, to name a few. I am happy you found a cd you like and hope to only expand your knowledge of capable tenors!

B. H. Don says:
I too wouldn't compare Jonathon to the great tenors of the past and present, but would hasten to add....yet! I believe he has huge potential, his being quite possibly the finest, most secure tenor voice that I've heard in more than 50 years in one so young. As a duo, their moving performances are so very welcome in this era largely of musical mediocrity. To label them as merely "pleasant" I therefore find to be rather condescending.

I must agree with you Obliv. If you like this you should listen to IL Divo. They are the original group that Simon Cowell put together. They are 3 tenors and a baritone and their music will transform you. Another great singer is Bochelli. And, yes there are so many more. I do agree that Johnathan and Charlotte have a great thing going. I would love to hear a song or two by just Johanathon
