5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Meal Replacement Ever, April 18, 2004
This review is from: The Ultimate Life - The Ultimate Meal, 1200 g powder 42.3oz (Health and Beauty)
I started taking this product when I was pregnant and extremely health conscious. It is the best meal replacement out there, and from the very beginning I could feel the difference in my health. Of course, the taste is far from delicious, but after my initial reaction (gag) I now like it, even crave it in the mornings. (I had to make myself like V8 to, and this is healthier.) The price is a little steep at $55, but it is much better on Amazon then if you bought it form the store ($70+ tax) and it is worth every penny of it. It is full of vitamins, healthy grains and vegan protein. It will fill you up (unlike other green drinks) so you eat less. While it does not claim to be a weight loss product, it actually helped me lose 20 pounds by helping me stop my cravings. Try it, you will not regret it!

Hi there. I know this review is really old but i just found the product so hope you see the email. I'm pregnant and pescatarian. I eat a lot of the fake meats like smart ground (tacos, spaghetti, etc) and boca burgers etc. I would like to cut down on these due to the soy and especially tvp and soy isolates, which I've heard are bad. SO i'm looking for other proteins. How was this for you while pregnant? Did you also take a pre-natal multi-vitamin? I take the Rainbow Light Prenatal One, which has a LOT of vitamins, and even digestive support. It has the 800 mcg of folic acid that is now recommended strongly for pregnant women.
Thanks in advance. How's your baby doing? S/he must be 7?

According to Prevention Magazine, When consumer labs tested this, they found...

Ultimate Life's "The Ultimate Meal", contained more than double the allowable amount of aerobic bacteria, which can cause inflammation and infections, research shows.

People please do research and don't go only on reviews.

Annie,

Prevention magazine didn't even give evidence of the lab testing, AND they were promoting other products after they slammed The Ultimate Meal. Hmmmm..... maybe your "research" needs more research.
