This review is from: The Lazy Paleo Enthusiast's Cookbook: A Collection of Practical Recipes and Advice on How to Eat Healthy, Tasty Food While Spending as Little Time in the Kitchen as Possible (Paperback)
The first half of the book is based around the authors dietary experiences, the author holds a refreshing view on the paleo diet in that he encourages the reader to do what feels right in a way. However some paleo enthusiasts would say that many of the recipes either are not paleo, and whilst the author offers some alternatives to paleo ingredients many times there are none.
The recipes themselves are simple, and the author does well to include some really useful tips to make living paleo easier if you don't like the kitchen. You can tell that the author lives by his recipes and techniques at home which makes this book seem a bit more unique to me, it's a far stretch from gourmet but perfect for a beginner or, as the title suggests, lazy chef.
I, personally, love to cook. However since adopting the paleo diet I've had to re-train myself in some ways in the kitchen, and from this book I have been able to take some advice on preparation and adapt it to my own diet. Some of the techniques are really handy.
