4.0 out of 5 stars IT Director Review of AC-201 - Fairly Positive, August 14, 2008
Length:: 3:04 Mins

We purchased 200 of the AC-201 for our teaching staff and have had no complaints. The build quality is acceptable and the headset has some nice features for the price range.

Excellent review! I think the purchasing of 100 additional headsets is the biggest compliment you can give to the product.

Thanks for the review. More reviews like this should be posted for various products.
I am planning on purchasing about 50 for a computer lab

I ordered this same headset and unfortunately didn't have such positive experience. When making a call using VOIP, the other party listening hears garbled speech and static. Tried this headset on 3 different machines (2 desktops and 1 notebook, using XP and Vista). The calls had same bad sound quality each time. It may just be a matter of a defective unit, but that's still not acceptable so I'm returning this unit and going to try to find a reasonably priced headset that has better quality as well as longevity, which judging by reviews of the various headsets featured, is not easy to find. Your review was thorough just the same, and useful in helping me narrow down which headset to purchase. Unfortunately however the unit I bought was defective.

Thank you for posting your video Ryan! What a great help you are. I was in search of 3.5mm and they seem to be hard to find, especially when the websites fail to state the specs like this one.

Thanks for the review. Just a minor comment...Faux (as in faux leather) is pronounced "foh". :)

Nice review. I especially like that you pointed out the difference between over-the-ear speaker cups and the type of speaker that lays on the ear. One suggestion for future reviews: Plug the headset it in at some point and let us hear the quality.

Sorry I can't resist pointing this out.. has anyone ever told you that with no beard and a shaved head, you would look and act very similar to the TV show character Michael Scoffield (Prison Break)? Ok, hope that was an okay comment, just had to say it!
