5.0 out of 5 stars My First Large Screen TV - Love it!, September 24, 2012
This review is from: Samsung PN60E530 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV (Black) (2012 Model) (Electronics)
I purchased this TV from Best Buy after MUCH agony on which TV - Plasma? LED? LCD? Smart? 3-D? After four trips to Best Buy (and changing my mind about 5 times), I went with this one. Less than $1,000 and 4 out of 5 sales people at BB recommended Plasma over LED for true, rich colors and less motion blur. It seemed way too big when we first got it home, but soon adjusted to the size. Absolutely gorgeous color and sharp picture once we got an HD box and I played with TV settings. It is so easy on the eyes, which my husband and I both LOVE. You can clearly see so much on the screen and some scenes literally take your breath away, they are so stunning. I did purchase a 4 year warranty, so I am ready to kick back and enjoy this TV. There is glare from lighting, so I prefer to pull the drapes when viewing in day time; other than that, no complaints at all. I purchased a 'smart blu-ray player' and decided we didn't need a sound bar, as the sound is clear and more than acceptable. No regrets at all with my first HD large screen TV.Sony BDP-S390 Blu-ray Disc Player with Wi-Fi (Black)

Seems like this panasonic tv is really worth the price but I have my doubts about it being sturdy enough if I place it high up. I can't really afford to see this one break. Did you fix the TV to the wall? I would probably go for FlexiMounts to mount it. Check it out if you had a similar conern.

That was a pretty great review. I bought the same sharp tv to replace my previous 10-year old junk but I couldn't stand the cables just hanging around behind the TV. Just not used to them, I guess. I saw this brand called FlexiMounts and they had a ""cable management mount"" for a pretty reasonable price that worked perfectly. It's a must buy if you're as OCD as I am. Hope this helps!
